In response to morgans blog tag I will answer the questions. I'm sorry that I'm such a luddite.
Who do I love? I love Maurie, my five kids, their spouses, my eight grandsons, my sisters and brothers and their families. I love my mother in law and Maurie's family. I love many people in my ward and the ladies that I work with. I also love so many others. I love Mom and Dad and all the others who have gone on. I love Ben and Shirley. I look forward to that time when we can all be together again.
How long have you been married? Maurie and I have been married 17 years. It will be 18 in August.
How long did you date? We dated about two and a half months. That seems quick but remember our situation.
Where did he propose? It was Mother's day and the kids were all getting ready for church. Maurie called me into the dining room. There was a huge bouquet of reed roses on the dining room table. I later found out there were 100 roses. He sat me in a chair, took my hand and knelt in front of me. He asked if I would marry him and I said yes very promptly. The kids all jumped on us and hugged and kissed us and we went to church. I carried one of the roses with me.
Who is taller? Maurie is taller, by a good three inches.
Who is smarter? He thinks I am and sometimes I humbly agree. He knows all the stuff about his business and work. He has a terrible memory and is always asking how to spell words and who so and so is. We have different kinds of smarts.
I do the laundry except for Maurie's clothes. He does his laundry.
The kids, Rachel and Seth mow the lawns. They also weed the flower beds They also help with any major project in the yard.
I do the cooking. Maurie can cook and has put together some memorable dinners but he is known more for his big lavish desserts.
Maurie has to drive back and forth when he goes to work and I do all the rest of the driving. Unless we go into Chicago when I ask Maurie to drive. You can get soooo lost.

My wife talked with her sister last night and got the blog address for her niece's blog. It included photos of the new baby and AJ was captivated. This morning she said she wanted a blog. I said i know nothing about blogs. Now I am creating one.
